With high quality programming and dedicated support- you will emerge with the skills, knowledge and connections needed to grow your business.

Our 15-month incubator supports female-led  agrifood-tech startups during a pinnacle point in your journey. ​​

 

It has been designed to provide flexibility and accessibility to early stage female-led startups in the agriculture and food sector. You will be supported by industry experts and mentors and connected to a community of other female founders, ensuring you get access to the best training and advice you and your business needs to thrive.

How does the studio work

Participation: Hybrid (face2face + virtual)

Through monthly activities and support you will build your knowledge and confidence across key business growth pillars.

Eligibiility

To be eligible for our TEKWOMEN QLD Startup Studio you must be:

​

  • A Queensland female founder (Queensland resident, female-identifying person acting as a sole founder, co-founder or in a leadership position within the startup business)

  • Actively working on an early stage agrifood-tech startup 

  • Your tech startup must be working on solving challenges across the agriculture and food industry

  • You are likely to be pre-revenue and/or have some early traction achieved with first customer base

  • You have a early prototype of your product/service offering

  • You can commit to the program and are willing to spend at least 10hrs per month on your business

Your Investment

Thanks to the support of the Advance Queensland Initiative, Accelerating Female Founders Program we are offering 12 scholarships of $750+GST (usually valued at $8500 +GST) to make this program accessible to female founders.

Payment plans are also available and for those female founders who have a genuine inability to pay, Farmers2Founders will look to contribute where possible.

​

Please note this program is for female founders based in QLD only. If you are located outside QLD, we have a number of other programs available to join.

  • Who is the TEKWOMEN QLD Startup Incubator for?
    The TEKWOMEN QLD startup incubator is for Queensland based, female-led early stage agrifood-tech startups. It is a 15-month startup incubator that supports female founders achieve their growth goals through cohort sprints, regional residencies, 1:1 coaching and mentoring, and connections to potential customers, partners and investors. By agrifood-tech startup, we mean a high growth potential, innovative startup that is tech-enabled and focused on solving challenges/opportunities across the agriculture and food sector. Technology applications could be software, hardware, implements with tools such as AI, Big Data, IOT, Intelligent apps, robotics, drones, autonomy, sensors, block chain, processing technology, production technology and lots more! Eligibility is determined by the Queensland Government’s Accelerating Female Founders Program: A Queensland female founder is a Queensland resident, female-identifying person acting as a sole founder, a co-founder, or in a leadership position (CEO, Director, Executive) within an innovative business or the innovation ecosystem. Innovation Driven Enterprise (IDE) - a business that emphasises innovative solutions as a key driver of growth, competitive advantage, and value creation.   • How do I apply?
    We are currently accepting expressions of interest for our TEKWOMEN QLD startup incubator program . Click on the EOI button above and submit the simple form. We will be in touch with you directly to discuss next steps. Full applications will be opening on Monday 10th February 2025.
  • How much does it cost?
    Thanks to the support of the Advance Queensland Initiative, Accelerating Female Founders Program we are able to offer spots in our startup incubator at a subsidised rate of $750.00 to Queensland based female-led agtech startups. Note spots in our programs are usually valued at around $15K. For those female founders who have a genuine inability to pay, F2F will look to contribute where possible. The TEKWOMEN QLD Ideas Incubator is $100.00 (usually valued at over $350.00) for QLD-based female participants.
  • What is the time commitment of the program?
    The TEKWOMEN QLD Startup Incubator is a 15-month program that will offer a high degree of flexibility to participants including: Targeted cohort sprints Online and face to face elements in regional and metro locations Opt in learning modules and workshops Self-managed 1:1 coaching and mentoring During weeks of more intense online programming we would look at a maximum of 2 hours per week of contact time.
  • Do I need to be located in Queensland?
    For this particular initiative, to be eligible you must be a resident of Queensland. However, Farmers2Founders runs multiple national programs per year that may be a fit for you if you are located outside of Queensland. You can find our upcoming programs here
