In recognition of NSW’s prominent role in AgTech, the 2023 Henty Machinery Field Days are proud to deliver the Agri-Innovators Award in partnership with Farmers2Founders. Celebrating a wider range of agricultural sectors, showcasing the accomplishments of emerging innovators and introducing a significant accolade to the Female Innovator of the Year.

The award categories are:

JUDGING CRITERIA

To nominate for the Farmers2Founders Agri-Innovators Awards, the technology or product must be Australian designed technology or hardware be judged by the invited panel of judges to be innovative, deliver performance benefits to producers, and if not yet comercialised have the potential for further product or market development. To enter candidates must fill in the application form and submit before 24th August. The judging panel will consist of representitives from Farmers2Founders, Henty Machinery Field Days and other external experts. A final shortlist of applicants will be chosen to pitch virtually for the final awards. The judging panel's decision is final. All finalists must be present on Thursday 21st September to receive their award.

Entries may be related to all sectors of Agriculture and the technology should demonstrate one or more of the following:

  • Can include hardware and software, business models, new technologies and new applications

  • Solves a problem across the agrifood value chain

  • Benefits producers through improved sustainability, reduced costs, better yields or improved efficiency

  • The solution has market potential and scalability

  • Brings new approaches to agricultural processes or solves existing challenges in the industry

  • Technology is user friendly and can be easily adopted on farm

​Winners will be announced at 10.30 am on Thursday 21st September at "The Stump" (located in section G, centre of map).
