WHAT IS THE NATIONAL PRE-ACCELERATOR?

Everything you need to launch a successful agrifood startup.

The F2F national pre-accelerator is designed to support researchers, students, aspiring entrepreneurs and farmers to accelerate the commercialisation of agrifood innovations that solve challenges on farm or for the industry

Our program will provide you with 1:1 business coaching, access to industry mentors and experts and funding to help build your agrifood startup. We will support you to acquire your first customers, build your founding team and launch your MVP into the market.

WHO CAN APPLY?

Our program is open to any person- or team located in Australia- who is working on a new agrifood startup. We have a particular focus on specific industries such as grains and red meat sectors. Your concepts could be for:

 

Technology (Software and/or hardware that solves a problem on farm

Value added products for consumers

Service based business concepts 

You might be:

A producer/farmer

A student

A tech developer

An aspiring entrepreneur

An individual or team looking to work on a solution with producers

A researcher/research team with an idea ready for commercialisation

HOW TO APPLY?

Applications are open from the 7 November 2022. You can submit your application by clicking any of the 'apply now' buttons. Once we receive your application the team will be in touch to get you started with stage one, the Journey Starter Online Program. We will also set up time to have a mini coaching session with you to help you to progress your idea forward.

Please note, in order to be eligible for stage two Hatch program you will need to complete the Journey Starter Online.

HOW IT WORKS

A fully integrated program pathway to help you navigate the different stages of your startup journey.

The F2F national pre-accelerator is structured over three key stages. Anyone who submits an application will get access to our Journey Starter online program to help you refine your concept. Each stage of the pre-accelerator involves a selection process with a specific number of participants moving through to the next stage.

We will be running multiple national programs each year.

Self paced- Journey Starter

  • Self-paced online program

  • 1:1 coaching session

  • 12-15 finalists selected to progress to stage two

Launches 7 November 2022

STAGE TWO- VALIDATE

  • Practical group sessions

  • 10 selected to progress to stage three

Launches 6 February 2023
